Circa Theatre is one of New Zealand's 7 professional theatres. It opened in 1976 and in 1994 moved to its new dual theatre building situated at Number 1 Taranaki Street, in central Wellington (the Capital of New Zealand) on the waterfront of its magnificent harbour, next to Te Papa: the National Museum Of New Zealand.
