This historic site commemorates Sauk, Mesquakie, and other Native Americans who lived in Illinois from about 1750 to 1831. It includes a 100-acre nature preserve with four miles of hiking trails. The Dickson Cemetery includes about 60 graves of the early 19th century. Recreational facilities include 3-day use areas with picnic areas.
