Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center is an all-season activity center located at the base of 6, 288 ft. Mt. Washington in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. From May through October, they offer mountain biking on 25 miles of carriage roads and single-track trails. Bike rentals are available in the Great Glen Outfitters Shop. Great Glen also provides guided kayak and canoe tours on the lakes and rivers of Northern New England. Summer events include the 24 Hours of Great Glen mountain bike race. An indoor 2 ? story climbing wall is available in all seasons.

Once the snow has covered the trail system Great Glen transforms into one of the regions leading Nordic Centers. They offer cross-county ski lessons for all abilities and Olympic skier Sue Wemyss is among their staff of instructors. Great Glen has terrain for all skiers and snowshoers and the Outfitters Shop rents high quality equipment for use on the trails. Over 500 hundred cross-country skiers participate each winter in the Great Glen to Bretton Woods Nordic Adventure, a classic ski adventure rounding the Northern half of Mt. Washington.
