The Redondo Beach Pier was originally built in 1889. In 1952, Tony Trutanich opened Tony’s on the Pier featuring the “fresh catch of the day.” In 1995, the horseshoe shaped pier was introduced, boasting panoramic ocean and coastline views and a large concrete area designed to bring the community together.
