The Vision
Rhythmix Cultural Works, an exciting new center for the performing and visual arts is scheduled to open in June 2007. Located in Alameda, RCW will be an important hub of creative living and learning in the Bay Area.

Rhythmix Cultural Works evolved out of Rhythmix, a non-profit world music ensemble established in 1997 dedicated to promoting cultural expression and exchange. Having experienced the power of the cultural arts to bring people together, founder Janet Koike was inspired to create a place that would bring communities together through the arts.
