Description:
net.culture club MaMa > was openned on 23rd of May 2000. in the city of Zagreb, as club space that interfaces mi2's projects and programs with general public.
It was setup to support cultural/social/independent producers, NGOs or other non-profit driven entithies. mi2 staff have taken on the task of building/maintaing a place for meeting of people who will get involved in activities that connect different areas of wider social strata (culture, economy, politics, law...). Rather than establishing this new space with-in existing cultural scene, focus was on building new on cross-section of different scenes and working with youth.
Positioned in the city center (where most of the cultural activity of Zagreb is), 300m from main square, and therefore convinient for short visits during the bussines hours, as well as meeting place for going out in the evenings.
Public space is organised in airport metaphors:

Office space is used by staff and members that are associated with programs and project development (partners and associates).
