Woodland Park is an exciting rectangular complex just southwest of Green Lake and north of the Fremont district.

It is separated into two parts by Aurora Avenue. The side west of Aurora includes some picnic space, the Woodland Park Rose Garden, an amusement area for children, and the Woodland Park ZooThis link will take you off the City of Seattle Web Page. East of Aurora, the park is largely an informal picnic park with pleasant grassy hills and pathways. Woodland Park's ballfields, tennis courts, walkways, paths, and a dog off-leash area are to the East of Aurora.
