Built at a cost of £29 million and offering a capacity for 50,000 spectators, Don Valley Stadium is one of the finest sports stadiums in the UK. We regularly play host to major athletic/sporting events, pop concerts and TV shows, and have a daily programme, which includes something for every resident in the region!

You don’t have to be an athlete or super fit to use the stadium, or a member of any club. We have coached sports & athletics sessions for beginners to elite athletes, from 6 yrs old upwards, running every night of the week and at weekends. Gymnastics lessons for children and adults, beginner to expert level, are also running all week and weekends.
