In its quest to modernize the capitol district, the Kuwaiti government initiated a five-phased program to renovate the coastline. URC was selected to develop the fifth and final phase of this enormous project. URC created Marina World, a complete urban destination consisting of an inland shopping center Marina Mall and a 3 km multi-featured coastal strip Marina Seaside. The Marina Seaside includes the Marina Crescent, Club el Marina, and much more. Still to come on the Marina Seaside are the following:

The Marina Hall, which occupies 2,870 sqm and consists of a 900 sqm hall that can be divided into three sections. In addition, the Marina Hall encompasses a bridal suite, an external tent for open air functions and an access to the hall's car park, which takes up to 1500 cars.

The Marina Hotel, which includes 91 rooms and 7 suites overlooking the Sea, a fine dining restaurant, a business center and a health club with treatment rooms. The hotel also includes two swimming pools with a sunken Bar, two tennis courts, a squash court and a sandy beach.
