"The Bute Hall

In the early days it was consecrated as a place of worship. A fine Lewis organ was insatlled. originally the organist sat under the organ pipes but found it difficult to hear what was being played and so the seat was moved to the side! Unfortunately the result of this is it obscures part of the Strachan window.

The hall is used for exams but this does not give students time to appreciate the windows. Perhaps they notice them more at their graduations. It is a magnificent occasion and is a suitable impressive venue for the honorart graduation, which is held in june each year."
