The inspiration for Sova was born out of the space that we’re in. The owner of Sova was looking to open a coffee business, and had targeted the H St., NE corridor specifically, having lived on the NE side of Capitol Hill since 1998. When the opportunity was presented to buy an existing coffee business on H St., the ideas just started flowing. Given the premium location in a neighborhood that’s very underserved when it comes to quality coffee, tea, and a good glass of wine, and also has a rapidly growing arts and entertainment district, the answer was simple. Let’s make it happen, and let’s have fun doing it.

What’s the it you ask? Sova is totally committed to serving the best quality products possible by being extremely diligent and thoughtful in selecting the vendors we choose to work with. You know how the saying goes, “ Your only as good as the company you keep “. Well, we choose to work with businesses who are just as passionate about what they do as we are.
